Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Team and lead the development of the “brain” behind our wearable technology. You will design the core electronics that translate high-impedance physiological signals into reliable digital data, enabling continuous, real-world health monitoring. This role sits at the intersection of precision analog design, ultra-low-power systems, and wearable constraints, and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex, real-world engineering challenges.

You will own hardware development from concept through validation, playing a critical role in bringing next-generation smart textile systems to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of high-precision schematics for low-power wearable systems using Altium Designer.
  • Architect and optimize analog front-end (AFE) circuits for biosignal acquisition (e.g., ECG, EMG, bio-impedance), including high-resolution ADC integration.
  • Design and oversee multi-layer, high-density PCBs, ensuring strong signal integrity in compact, mixed-signal environments.
  • Develop ultra-low-power battery and power management systems (BMS), including charging, protection, and fuel gauging for wearable applications.
  • Collaborate on embedded system design, including selection and integration of microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M or similar) and wireless modules (BLE, Wi-Fi).
  • Lead board bring-up, validation, and debugging, using lab equipment to characterize signals and ensure performance against specifications.
  • Partner cross-functionally with firmware, software, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure seamless hardware integration.
  • Contribute to design, manufacturing, and test documentation, supporting product development and scale-up.
  • Engage with external partners (CMs, FAEs, and suppliers) to support component selection and production readiness.
  • Ensure designs align with relevant industry and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, ISO) where applicable.
Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in mixed-signal hardware design, ideally within low-power or wearable systems.
  • Deep expertise in analog circuit design, including amplifiers, filters, noise mitigation, and low-voltage sensing.
  • Strong experience with ARM Cortex-M or similar microcontroller-based systems.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools (schematic capture and layout).
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, grounding strategies, EMI/EMC, and PCB parasitics.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware validation, debugging, and use of lab instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and take ownership of projects from concept through validation.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience developing medical devices in regulated environments (ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
  • Familiarity with IEC 60601 and regulatory submission processes (FDA, Health Canada).
  • Experience with flex or rigid-flex PCB design or textile-integrated electronics.
  • Experience creating Design History Files (DHF) and detailed technical documentation.
What We Offer:
  • A unique opportunity to shape the future of connected healthcare.
  • Competitive salary base don experience and comprehensive benefits.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced environment where innovation and impact go hand-in-hand.
  • Opportunities for professional growth in a mission-driven company poised global expansion.
  • Exposure working in one of the most innovative and forward-thinking tech company.
Join us, and help build a healthier, more connected future.
