Role Overview:
We're looking for a driven Technical Sales Director to lead the commercialization and growth of our E-Components division in Europe. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our sales efforts, building long-term partnerships and managing the full sales cycle for our textile-integrated electrodes, connectors, and cables. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with commercial strategy, collaborating closely with our R&D teams in Canada to deliver tailored solutions to customers in medical, sports, and fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full sales cycle from new customer acquisition to long-term account management.
- Generate leads through targeted outreach, networking, and market research, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Use CRM tools to track opportunities, manage customer data, and drive sales efficiency.
- Manage customer communications for ongoing and new development projects.
- Drive revenue growth and close deals for Myant's E-Components in Europe.
- Structure and oversee technical development projects with stage-based fee models (scope definition, feasibility study, MVP, pilot/0-series, full launch).
- Act as the primary liaison between the R&D team in Toronto and European clients, translating technical requirements and customer wishes into viable development projects.
- Take commercial ownership of the E-Components portfolio, relaying market feedback to ensure our offerings meet customer needs and guide the future product roadmap in line with business strategy.
- Manage local supplier relationships to optimize operations and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance documentation is prepared and maintained, especially for medical device customers.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong technical background in electronics. Experience in textiles or smart textiles is a big plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with both technical and commercial components.
- Excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach.
